We recently concluded a successful outing with our mentees (Omega Pupil Participants), during which we introduced three individuals who had never previously attended a college football game. Their enthusiasm was evident as they were afforded the opportunity to stand on the sideline for the entire second half of the game. With the support of two former mentees, now students at Bethune-Cookman, we were able to provide them with an enriching experience. Tarquez “Tooda” Thomas, an ROTC participant, and Deuce Styles, the Freshman Class President, have inspired the next generation of mentees to pursue higher aspirations. Participants had the privilege of meeting Reggie Theus, the Athletic Director and Head Basketball Coach, along with Malik Huggins, a distinguished alumnus of Southeast High and the recipient of the Florida Classic MVP award.
